Uploading a vector dataset does not give errors on upload and does show up correcty. However, it is not reprojected as requested when downloaded. I have a screenshot of the error message, but I don't know how to make it available in github's tracker.
Anyway, it comes down to GeoServer not delivering layers in the requested spatial reference.

upload your screenshot to a web-based service like http://imageshack.us/ and paste the link.
