a2b is a Max abstraction written in JavaScript ES5 which can convert between ASCII and Binary strings in either direction, as well as output UTF-16 values.
It is useful for creating controlled cointoss-like outputs, encoding textual information into musical parameters, or for producing pseudo-random values for generative or aleatoric techniques.
a2b is a single abstraction with a corresponding Max help file.
Download the a2b folder and copy it into your Max/MSP Packages folder. The default directory is /.../Documents/Max 8/Packages/
