Problem

As discussed with @sbillinge, we have scattered instructions from GitLab, release-scripts, and here.

Proposed solution

We may want to put the latest and relevant information as.rst files.

Having a nice documentation lowers the activation energy for the community to adopt our group's Python package standard and make improvements via PRs (also quality control).

Topics to combine:

  • Start a new package
  • Migrate an existing package
  • GitHub release instructions
  • conda-forge / PyPI release instruction
