Sort out handling images for alumni #18
Comments
No problem. Let’s keep the Zoom photo for now.
We should be able to take a new in-person group photo sometime in the fall.

It looks weird having no images for anyone but we don't want to delete images as people with photos move to alumni status...?

This issue is more about the long list at the bottom of the page of former lab members who never had individual headshots; I think it looks weird having so many little grey heads that we're never going to fill in. So it might make the most sense to just eliminate pictures once people move to alumni status but I'm not sure. In terms of the picnic we can take a group shot for sure. Maybe for individual headshots we can ask people instead of trying to take them ourselves though? Last time Finn did it with their camera; I'm not confident I'd be able to take anything better than what people probably already have themselves. |
