I would try with debug coreboot build and see what happens on serial during resume when you press a key.

I've confirmed that the platform wakes when using the power button, and it doesn't when trying to wake it with a USB keyboard key press. Disabling CMOS option table didn't help in any way, even though it solved the issue when using EDK2 as payload. I thought this might be another conflict involving PiKVM, but it doesn't work with PiKVM unplugged either. It looks like we're leaving this as a known issue for now, as it's not a crucial feature for AEM/TB testing.
