Use full-extension slides with sufficient length to allow lid to open fully while in the drawer:
- for front opening
- for side opening you only need to clear the drawer above, but do consider being able to open a Systainer while the drawer next to it is open.
Variations:
- Front-opening Systainers
- Side-opening Systainers
- Double-wide
- Double-deep
- Use long 3/4-extension drawer slides with space for rails, levels, or other long tools in the dead space behind the drawers.
- Room to leave latch open
- Number of columns - with side opening ensure that there is room to open a Systainer while the drower next to it is also open.
- Systainer type mix: a double-wide Sysport will hold either Maxi Systainers or two standard Systainers side-by-side (sander and paper, Carvex and accessories, etc.), a Sysport with at least 100 mm of extra depth could hold a Midi Systainer in the side opening position.
