No add buddy/contact?

Is it me or is the add buddy/contact missing for Google Chat plugin in Pidgin? Or is there something wrong with my setup? :(

Noticed an issue trying to do the same. When I select Add Buddy the top Account drop down is empty so I can't choose which account. I can enter the "Buddy's username" and group but hitting "Add" just leaves them pending on my Buddy list. I can't figure out how to add any new contacts.
