Not working on mac 10.5.8 with eclipse 3.4.2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the plugin and copied to the eclipse/plugin directory
2. Started eclipse, not able to see map/reduce perspective
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is map/reduce perspective
I don't see anything

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 I am using mac 10.5.8/JDK1.6/Eclipse 3.4.2
Please provide any additional information below.

i use eclipse 3.4.2 too.
it worked in my ubuntu8.04.

I did one test, the result is the current version of the plugin can use in 
eclipse-SDK-3.3.2-win32, but can't in 3.6 version which I often used
