I'm using EWS Provider 4.0.0-beta4 and had an issue with a repeating event I was invited to.
I have set a reminder of 5 minutes before.
When the time was reached I got the normal reminder alert but could not confirm anything (dismiss or snooze). Because the alert blocks the calendar functionality I had to kill thunderbird. After restarting thunderbird the same happens again. The only solution for me was to remove the reminder in the web interface of the calendar.
