Skybox never goes back to normal after being in space #6

When I go to an altitude higher than 7000, the skybox becomes black, then I go back to a lower altitude (either by moving normally or by teleportation) but the skybox keeps being black. Everything becomes normal again if the client quits and reconnects.

The settings.lua file is default. My server is Debian Buster, MineTest 5.3.0. My client is ArchLinux, MineTest 5.3.0.
I don't have any other mod that affects the skybox.
