How to get the branch for Release 2.9

Hello everyone how can I get the branch or code of the Release 2.9? I need to do an exercise ir order to verify if it's possible to compile the jackson-databind component with JDK/JVM 6 compatibility.

For 2.9 branch generally, use branch 2.9 of the repository in question (this repo is just portal with no code: what you likely want is either jackson-core or jackson-databind).
For specific release there are tags; for jackson-databind, version 2.9.0 for example, that'd be jackson-databind-2.9.0.
