Unlike BGT-WeiDU, EET unites 4 separate campaigns into a single game. So, should EET be renamed to "Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Tetralogy" instead of "Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Trilogy"? Of course, the abbreviation EET would still remain unchanged.

People may be used to trilogy (as name); it also sounds better than tetralogy.

SoD could be assumed a natural extension to BG1.

Note: I am not at all against renaming it. I am just not entirely certain it is worth it.

SoD could be assumed a natural extension to BG1.

And similarly, ToB could be viewed as a natural extension of BG2.
Of course, this primarily influences how people refer to it, with minimal, if any, necessary adjustments required in the code.
