Front page isn't 100% width after orientation changes on iOS #4

On some browsers and some versions of iOS, starting the phone in portrait mode, rotating to landscape, and then rotating back to portrait results in the following:

slack for ios upload

This bug can't be reproduced on iOS 8.4, but it can be on iOS 9.2. For some users it works fine on Chrome.

It seems like the banner animation was the culprit here, so I've disabled it for now.
