When there are affiliated events, have direct links to their separate programs in the main program. That way, you can look at all affiliated events + main conference schedule simultaneously, to better plan your trip. Not sure what this would look like in practice (links to affiliated events next to the dates? buttons to events? something else?).

The structure that Crypto 2019 used looks like a good structure (see https://crypto.iacr.org/2019/listaffevents.html). Some of the events are hosted on crypto.iacr.org and some are hosted offsite, to suit the needs of the organizer(s).
The program for the conference should have link(s) to program(s) for affiliated event(s). After discussion with the board, they decided that there should not be a single unified program.
Going forward, let's make provision for including affiliated events as Crypto 2019 did, included in the repo as a dummy event so people have a template for adding their affiliated events. This would be in an "advanced topics" section of the installation docs or similar.
