how to use the Directus module inside a composable

Hello all!

I use this in my .vue file:

const { getItems } = useDirectusItems();

getItems( { myCollection }).then(res => {
    console.log(res)
})

But I would like to make all the calls from a .js file in the composables folder. How can I do this?
Do I need to import useDirectusItems() from somewhere?
