What happened?

Hi,

last year we bought a Dimplex WH2 for tests for a new venting system. With this WH2 everything was fine.
Now we bought some Dimplex WE2 but th teachin is not working. (On the Device its is showing as Y5 after teachin, but the device doesn't show up in ioBroker.

We have the ALL SMART EnOcean Multi-Gateway
I've tested with another one of these but its the same behavior. A factory reset didn't work either.

In ioBroker nothing was changed. WH2 worked -> Mounted the new WE2 -> Start Teachin -> Nothing worked

Hi,

after some Research, Teachouts and Teachins i think, the device is successfully learned to the Gateway.

  • Dimplex WE2 switches from C5 to Y5 (recognized an Central Management)
  • Iobroker Plugin shows ID of last recieved Telegram with actual timestamp from Teachin

If i can help with some tests mail me.

Please provide me a debug log of teachin process. It seems that the (your) we2 uses a different profile as actual implemented.

Sorry for the late answer. It seems that the (your) WE2 uses a different EEP that isn't implemented actual.
Could be that the eep can set on the device, check the documentation.

there is no other Option than the older WE2.
EEP D2-50-00,01 for centralized Control

I dont know whats different between WH2 and WE2 (on Enocean Side)
