Currently, MRT connects at startup (assuming the configured wire is not 0) and remains connected. MKOB has the button, and also the F8 keyboard key to toggle the connection.

Add the same keyboard key, if possible, to toggle the connection. Have some indicator that lets you know the connected/disconnected state.
