Releases: MovingBlocks/Terasology
Stable 39 - checkpoint
Architectural / checkpoint release - primarily covers refactoring to split out our module system to a separate framework - gestalt-module:
https://github.com/MovingBlocks/gestalt-module
(Why "Gestalt" ? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gestalt_psychology - more frameworks will join the Gestalt family over time)
Took a while to get all the actual modules stable again :)
Stable 38 - moar modules!
This release doesn't hold a ton of new engine features, although the CrashReporter helps and there are some usability tweaks like graphic options and home/end for changing the view distance, along with the usual slew of bug fixes.
New modules include TerraTech & Machines by @Josharias, Rails by @small-jeeper, Breathing was extracted from core/engine by @Josephtsessions, and Signalling was put back in after finally getting fixed up for NUI

Stable 37
This actually covers a few stable releases and lots of stuff! See the forum thread for details
Stable 32
Now with 42% more hamsters* !
For more details see the news post: http://forum.movingblocks.net/threads/welcome-to-the-bronze-age.1009/
- = Hamster quote for illustrative purposes only. Release contains no hamsters. Server hamsters were not pushed beyond standard endurance limits during the preparation of this stable build. This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA. Not for the treatment of any disease or medical condition. Results may vary. Warranty void in Sierra Leone. Not for internal use. Do not drink the yellow water. There is no Dana, only Zuul.
Stable release 31 - more stable!
Now with less crashing in WoodAndStone :D
There are a few new modules bundled with the zip here, main engine improvements relate to NUI, inventory, and headless / alternative ways to run the game. Graphics and AI got tweaked some too.
Stable release 30 - content!
A lot of this release actually comes in the new modules bundled with the zip, but the engine got a couple major updates as well. Brief listing:
- @immortius' NUI merged to engine and in place for main menu (not in-game per this build although the unstable builds have some in-game at this point) - a fresh new look with much better functionality!
- @synopia's behavior trees also went to engine and an impressive video resulted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPwBSwq4_mg
- Lots of new modules (and old ones working again) in particular the WoodAndStone set by @MarcinSc
- Known issue: The WoodAndStone "Over the Ages" world selection can cause a crash on world creation. Probably depends on the player starting near trees - if you keep trying you should eventually get a working world!

Highlight build 23 - added modules
This is a preview build for an expanded module lineup. Includes new/overhauled modules:
- ChangingBlocks - allow blocks to change over time (try it with the Crops module to see plants grow)
- GrowingFlora - organically growing trees (one or a few blocks at a time)
- LightAndShadow - the L&S game mode finally overhauled and back in action, or its foundation anyway
- Miniion - refreshed and (mostly) functional again
- WoodAndStone - primitive crafting guided by a player journal
The next stable build (soon'ish) is likely to include these extra modules or even more!
Stable build 29 - fully restructured
This is the first fully restructured release plus everything new since multiplayer was merged in. The restructure was pretty much done around the last stable build but we let it cook a little longer before merging it in as well and then a bunch of other stuff happened over the two months since as well :-)
This release also has a new module lineup which you can read about in the README.
Stable build 28 - now with multiplayer!
First stable build including multiplayer.
First & last version like this, as the restructure was applied immediately after this build. Next stable build will include all that.
Contains the multiplayer modules but not most the prior ones - those are being updated still
Near first stable multiplayer build
Putting a release here on GitHub a little early just in case as our webhost is getting slammed currently :-)
This version is pretty stable with multiplayer although most the content modules from develop still aren't here.
Latest develop build still has the bug where too many enabled modules overflows the block ID and makes the world look really weird
