I think mapping here is not the 'mapping' package installed with pip. Did you see the mapping folder in ./preprocess? 'Mapping' is actually here. However, this toolkit is written in C++ so you need pybind11 to make it accessable in python. If you are using linux, they already provide mapping.cpython-37m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so in ./preprocess/utils, so I think the python script can import mapping directly, because this file is compiled.
However, if you have this error, maybe you are not using Linux but Windows. I think this .so file is not for windows. In that case, you should run cmake to the mapping folder. You should first uninstall mapping in pip, then use vs to compile this mapping.cpp and get mapping.pyd file as result. After that, put .pyd file in ./preprocess/utils and this error will disappear. Make sure you installed pybind11 in your conda environment. You can use pip or conda to install it.
If you are using Linux, then I have no idea. Sorry for that.
Good day!
