When I clip a web page as Full Page it will sometimes result in a new OneNote page having an embedded file Webpage.html instead of the page content as an image.
For example in Edge using the Clip to OneNote plugin I clip the following URL as Full Pagehttps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/whats-new/csharp-10. When I view the page in OneNote I see the attached screenshot. The page has the expected title and Clipped from: {url}, but it does not have the expected full-page image. It has an embedded file Webpage.html. The Web Clipper plugin showed the page preview and successfully clipped it.
As a OneNote WebClipper user, I would like to have consistent output, so that my work is not interrupted.
I do not know why this is happening or how to get around it when it does happen. This problem has existed for years and I have no idea how to mitigate it.
Redoing the web clipping does not work the majority of the time. Sometimes using a different computer on a different internet connection resolves the issue. Using different browsers does not work the majority of the time.
