Have multiple orthogonal point currencies; puzzles can award multiple types of point currencies
This would allow for different rounds having relatively independent unlocks, or to be able to track meta solves without affecting feeder puzzle diameter.
If #22 is implemented as a point threshold, then one could naturally designate a puzzle as a final puzzle.

To make unlocking simpler, the requirement to unlock a puzzle should only require a single type of point currency. Even with this constraint I think most standard round structures (e.g. multiround parallel unlocks, or map adjacency unlocks) should be supported with this generalization.
