I know this isn’t exactly a NNW issue, but I wonder if it would be possible to make a small change that could solve this?
I use the NNW app on both iOS and macOS with Inoreader as the backend service.
Inoreader allows you to follow Facebook Pages, but as a result of this implementation, when viewing these posts in NNW, there’s an issue where the entire content of the post itself is repeated as the title.
So you get results like this on macOS:
And like this on iOS:
Not a massive problem, but it sure would be nice if the post content didn’t occupy the title space.
For reference, Inoreader puts the Facebook Page name as the title.
This makes all the posts from the Page have the same title, but it’s easier for browsing the list and reading each post:
I could save a lot of scrolling if NNW were able to implement the same behavior. But I understand this might be a big ask since these aren’t standard RSS feed behaviors.
