Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (garnet) | UDFPS device
Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G (rubyx)
risingOS version
risingOS 6.x
Exact version / Build date
6.0 - Dec 22 / Dec 20 2024
Bug description
The now bar could use some improvements, namely
Alternate positioning on UDFPS devices
On UDFPS devices the position of the sensor can overlap (z order) the now bar as it'll always be on top. An option would be to offset the the Y position of the now bar based on the sensor/button
Alternate behavior on AOD
The now bar is a lockscreen element so it gets displayed on AOD. This has burn-in risks since it doesn't move with the rest of the objects even if burn-in protection is enabled for the device.
Battery percentage / Charging status still displays when the device is unplugged
By default it doesn't display at all but the bar persists even if the device is no longer charging
Steps to reproduce
N/A
Relevant log (logcat/build log)
N/A
Screenshots or videos
Now bar power status still appearing when charger unplugged
Now bar displaying behind UDFPS
Now bar on ambient display / AOD
