What happens when we get a system that can't be solved? Does it just fail silently and spit out garbage? If so, that's probably something that we should look into...

@dfm Yes, the solver will fail. It is to be noted that the solver is not completely fool proof as such. Let me add some checks in the code to make it fool proof to an extent.
