stability issues with gnome 45 and 46

About 10% of the time, opening fly-pie will cause the whole gnome desktop environment to crash. When I hit ctrl + space, it immediately freezes for a second then throws me back to the login screen.

You may also check the output of GNOME Shell for any error messages related to Fly-Pie.
This can be done with the following terminal command:

I can't find anything in journalctl that points to a problem unfortunately

System

• distribution: Arch, Fedora (38, 39, 40)
• Fly-Pie version 26
• GNOME Shell version: 44, 45, 46

Hi there! Thanks for the report. However, this will be pretty hard to debug, as I cannot reproduce this on my end.

• Does this happen on X11 and on Wayland?
• GNOME Shell should print at least something to the journal when it crashes. Is there really nothing?
• Have you disabled all other extensions? (Please restart your session after disabling all other extensions and before testing).
