Commercial Licensing for whoami.page

This document outlines the commercial licensing terms for whoami.page. While the software is freely available under the AGPL-3.0 license for non-commercial use, any commercial use requires a separate commercial license.

What Constitutes Commercial Use?

Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

Educational Institutions

  • 50% discount on standard commercial license
  • Free for research purposes

Non-Profit Organizations

  • 75% discount on standard commercial license
  • Must provide proof of non-profit status

Startups

  • Special startup pricing available for companies less than 2 years old
  • Revenue must be under $1M annually

Terms and Conditions

  1. License Grant

    • Non-transferable
    • Non-exclusive
    • Territory: Worldwide

  2. Support and Maintenance

    • Bug fixes
    • Security updates
    • New feature releases (depending on license type)
    • Email support (response time varies by license type)

  3. Usage Restrictions

    • No redistribution rights
    • No white-labeling without Enterprise license
    • Must maintain attribution and copyright notices

  4. Termination

    • License terminates automatically upon breach of terms
    • No refund upon termination
    • Must cease use immediately upon termination

Revenue Thresholds

Commercial licensing is required when any of the following thresholds are met:

  • Annual revenue exceeds $50,000
  • More than 100 active users
  • More than 5 employees using the software
