What environment is this on ? Hosted server, virtual server, cloud, etc ? possible that an IIS refresh could disrupt it but it should boot up again when the app is started. |
Checking this morning the task scheduler went through the night and made both calls successfully. It is on Windows Server 2012 R2 in Umbraco 7.2.8. I will be monitoriung it over the next week or two and will let you know if it is working. Would a software update stop the service? We use teamcity to update from staging to live. At midnight the scheduled tasks stopped working. I have a task called keepAlive which calls a page every 5 minutes and adds a log record. Also, I have a task that calls a page once a day. The KeepAlive task had a 1 as the status when I looked at it this morning. What would shut the scheduler down?
