No Win APP? #1
Comments
Hi there! Yeah, I would love to release desktop apps some day - with keyboard shortcuts etc - the biggest problem are platform bluetooth plugins - currently used flutter_bluetooth_serial is very prototype-ish and android only - doesn't even work on android 12 because of new permissions :( Either miracle is gonna happen or I will need to write my own plugin for bluetooth... Anyway - yes, but i have no idea when. You can check out https://github.com/melianmiko/OpenFreebuds for now Ps. btw, how did you find about my app? I'm curious because i didn't promote it anywhere yet 😅 |
Hey! Thank you for your reply. Your app seems much cooler then others so I decided to give it a shot but... No win app :( I couldn't make this work. ( https://github.com/melianmiko/OpenFreebuds ) But I will try again. I found it while I was searching the hub!! :D Regards |
Don't worry - currently there's not much of a mobile app either 🤷 (because i just barely started developing it) - for windoza, it's just a matter of the plugin, so if someone would help with that, it may be sooner than i thought 👍
Honestly, me too :D |
By the way, could you describe me what's your use case for windoza app? Do you want keeb shortcuts or something? |
Thank you for your message, again! It would be awesome to see the battery levels and change between the noise modes (awareness, noise cancellation & off) |
I still sometimes come and check on your precious app. But no luck :( No windows release :(( |
Oh thats very nice to hear! There is some progress! I made my own bluetooth plugin - it will now be easier to implement it for windoza: https://github.com/TheLastGimbus/the_last_bluetooth - this also made it work on Android >= 12 Still, i need someone/a lot of time to figure it out tho - on Linux, it's pretty clear - you just plug into BlueZ. On windoz - i have no idea 🙃🙃 in this moment i don't have much free time :( - in May, i will graduate my high school and will be free to code again! Wish me luck! Take a look at OpenFreebuds, it's actively maintained 👌 For more active info, join the discord 🤗: https://discord.gg/fYS98UE5Cu Also just click on watch->custom->releases, there will definitely be one when launching for windoz! |
Great app. Thanks!! Do you plan to release a Windows app? Eta son?
