App not connecting to Huawei Freebuds 4i #22
Comments
Oh, you're from the google review - really happy to see you! I didn't update the app in a very long time (as it worked fine), so I reaaaaly think something else has happened The Play Console showed me that you have an Honor phone - we had seen that these seem to have some secret funcitonality to change the base name of headphones - that is, even other phones will se them differently. That would be cool to add to freebuddy if we figured it out by the way Hoooowever, the name is how fb detects them. Could you try to pair them with other phones and see what name displays there? If not, maybe change their alias/name in your bluetooth settings to be exaclty If that won't work i'll try to add some more debug functionallity to future update so i can work with weird cases like this |
...does it work on other phones? |
Hey TheLastGimbus/FreeBuddy
Unfortunately I only have a spare iPhone which I can't find the app on the
store!
Best wishes,
Daniel Christiansen

I have no idea what is the issue is here, sooo.... idk 🤷 I may get back to this in some time and implement some more debugging features. For now, i'm sorry but can't really do anything here :/ |
Nothing has changed yet the app seems to be out of date perhaps.
Name is still the same
Tried pairing again
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app
It's a super app and I'd like to keep using it.
Thanks
