Does https-proxy-agent Effectively Hide Original IP from the Destination Server?

Hello,

I want to hide my server IP address when sending http request. I build my own http pxory on VPS and use "https-proxy-agent". Does it really hide my IP from the server destination? Is there any way for me to prove it?
