I'm reaching out with a question about the dataset size used in the paper, as I found it a bit unclear. It seems that the datasets Dendrite, Vasculature, and Neuron each contain only a single 3D model — is my understanding correct?
If so, even considering 2D slices, each dataset might yield only a few hundred images. I’m curious if this dataset scale is typical in the field. Also, although I understand that the task and evaluation you propose are new, have you considered testing on other datasets commonly used in this area?
Thank you for your time and clarification!
