Is this the official UiPath ReFrameWork repo? #40
Comments
UiPath makes changes to the framework and pushes it out within the Studio client without really announcing any changes. This kinda leaves you in the dust in terms of making sure that previous things are updated using any enhancements that are done to the framework. However, the framework is head and shoulders better than what you're likely going to come up with in a proof of concept and is a basis point that all UiPath devs worth their salt should know and understand as a starting point. If you want to see the development that has been done on the framework, take a look at the different branches. They seem to be adding a bunch and then not merging anything into the main branch. Also, note that this is not monitored and you will not get any official response from UiPath here. You're much better off either asking questions on the forums or asking a question using UiPath's ticketing system. Just know that you're going to get a lot of really bad responses quickly and will need to push a bit to get someone that can give you a decent response in either case. Please tell me that you're not using Accelirate by the way for the vendor. They're objectively awful and I have a personal horror story and heard other UiPath customers share the same experience. |
They should definitely add the changes and update documentation of the REFramework here, agree! |
with the REFUI_demo version i'll get this error: anyone? |
You can find the latest version of REFramework using UiPath Studio. |
We're new UiPath customers.
We've got a vendor doing some proof-of-concept development using the ReFrameWork template.
While learning more about REF, I found this repo and was surprised to see that it hasn't had any significant development in years.
That makes me somewhat skeptical about the viability of the framework going forward.
Can someone help put my mind at ease?
