When you search the subscriptions blade in platform, the search criteria does not include the "Subscriber" field. Ideally, it should search the contact name of the customer tied to the subscription rather than the subscriber name, which is currently the username of the user account that created the subscription.
I'm afraid that desired behavior can be implemented only within indexed search because contact information is located in another subsystem and we can't use paginated and sort search with two different data sources.
This is absolutely achievable, but it will take a little more time than just adding a field to the search criteria and use it in the data source query.
