Wow this is powerful! I love the idea of intelligent aggregators and this is the best platform I've found, great work!

Question: When pulling in RSS feeds of videos I noticed was not pulled. Is this by design?

An example RSS feed is: https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCvsye7V9psc-APX6wV1twLg

Hmm, I think it's not getting pulled because it's in the media:description field instead of the standard description.

One way around it would be to fork the telescope:post-by-feed package to adapt it to your needs.

If you come up with a good solution, you could also submit a PR that checks the media object for descriptions, too.

Ahhh I see it now in the fetch_feeds.js. Hmm not sure I should mess with this file as the media:description is probably only used by youtube. I guess I could adapt it with an if/then or just fork the package as you suggested.

Thanks for your assistance. On an unrelated note, are there plans to keep the Zeiss fork updated? I think it's pretty sweet =)

Sure, the fork will be kept up to date. It's not actually a fork though, just a theme. It still uses the same code as any other regular Telescope install.
