Problem with 0.4.1.d and 0.4.1.c

Hello to you,

First of all, many thanks for the great work. I have only recently started and have been using version 0.4.0 with the flash file from yi_outdoor_0.3.8 for a while.

Now I wanted to update to 0.4.1d... but the following happens after the update:

Camera boots with orange LED - then starts flashing in blue and the moment the WLAN connection is established - it flies into a bootloop. - Unfortunately, no logs or similar can be created as I cannot establish a WLAN connection.

The solution was that I briefly downgrade to flash file yi_outdoor_0.3.7 and then upgrade again to yi_outdoor_0.3.8 - I have now been able to update to 0.4.1b at most - the normal boot works on this and I can work with it.

I own a YI Outdoor 1080p - have a WLAN connection in Germany (maybe something to do with wpa?)

Can you do some testing for me?

1. You will need to decompress the 0.4.1d and copy the folder .../yi-hack-v5/wpa onto your working 0.4.1b SD.
2. Then SSH to that folder
3. Execute ./wpa_supplicant - paste the outcome here
4. Execute wpa_supplicant - paste the outcome here

and now I copy the folder wpa (which did not exist before) into the folder yi-hack-v5 and insert the SD card into the camera again.

I re-establish a connection via SSH
unfortunately I do not see a "wpa folder" with ls even now

and if I now type in the two commands - the same thing

There is libcrypto.so.1.1 in the wpa folder. You need to copy it to a lib folder - the best is /home/lib

However, its a big file and we need to check if you have enough space

Yes that is my profile changed with DELETE. but that is strange. I use a Fritzbox 6690 with separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz with Wi-Fi 6 in WPA2 (CCMP).

Please can you upgrade to 0.4.1d and restore defaults (press and hold the reset button) and pair the camera again providing the QR code from the app?

That's exactly what I tried...
When I am in the WLAN process and I hold the QR code in front of the lens, it briefly says "Connection is being established" "QR code has been recognized" and the camera reboots and the setup process starts all over again. It doesn't remember anything and is in a boot loop with a new setup.

"Connection is being established"

This indicates that connection is being made to YI servers - if you limit some connectivity by firewall or DNS, it will not allow to pair your camera at this point.

no sorry... - my mistake with the process. I have already reset the camera several times and re-integrated it by holding the camera to the QR code...

It is read in and only the message appears that the QR code has been recognized... then the blue LED starts to flash and flies back to orange... the setup process begins.

No DNS or firewall problems present. I install an old and then a new firmware version and use an older version before Hack (SD) firmware version 0.4.1c. The setup process is completed and I can use everything. In the app and on port 8080.
