What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start hijack with Audio Hijack Pro input = QuickTime and output =
Soundflower 2 ch and Effect set to Soundflower 2 ch
2. Mac Dictation & Speech: Dictation = ON and Used Enhanced Dictation clicked,
shortcut = fn fn.
2. Click play on QT recording.
3. Click fn fn in TextEdit.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to have audio transcribed to TextEdit when Hijacking a Quick Time and
using Enhanced Dictation. I can hear the audio and see it being recorded by
Audio Hijack but when I click fn fn on the text window, the Record Mic appears
for the dictation and the Audio Hijack audio levels stop indicating sound
reception and nothing is transcribed.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
V1.6.2 running on Mavericks 10.9.2
Please provide any additional information below.
I purchased Audio Hijack Pro and installed SoundFlower for the sole purpose of
generating audio and video files to supply ADA compliant transcripts. Thank you
in advance for any help you can provide.
