On the author dashboard, when selecting a time frame with the widget "Publications over time", it makes sense for the user perspective to refresh all the other widget according to this selection - similarly as it is done on the search front-end.
An additional constrain with the selected time-frame should then be added on the top bar of the dashboard (at the right of the person name), similarly as the time filter constraints are added on the search interface - together with the possibility to remove the filter constraint (the clickable cross).
This supposes also faster loading time of the dashboard widgets - currently very slow as compared to what we could expect from ElasticSearch (and what we get with the search interface).
Possibly the same time-frame widget could be added on the organisation dashboard, so that the user could refine the views on a particular period similarly as for the author views.
