Only JavaEE / JakartaEE available for war projects

I'm currently having a look at #3556 and figured out that for war projects full profile is totally removed (see https://github.com/apache/netbeans/blob/release126/enterprise/maven.j2ee/src/org/netbeans/modules/maven/j2ee/ui/wizard/ServerSelectionHelper.java#L189-L202)

I wonder if this was done on purpose? From my understanding I might want to use full profile even if my packaging type is war.
