Using visualize_map on emerald_city yields strange purple spots #62

When using visualize_map.py to map the result of emerald_city.py, strange purple blobs can be seen at the top left of each tower. Of course, this issue is most likely not unique to emerald_city.py, but it does show a clear example of the bug.
