Use data.table's mergelist when done

Currently, to allow for simpler syntax, the purrr package is used for its reduce function, creating unnecessary dependency (and general incompatibility) with the tidyverse. This dependency will be removed on resolution of this issue.

Alternatives are to use base R's Reduce although that will require creating an anonymous function that may be confusing for certain users, and generally a little less flexible to easily update.
