I have interest in it, in fact, if I can't find a revived effort of this today, then, I'm going to do it myself, because I want this for my own blog.

Edit: found someone else working on this: https://github.com/scambier/ghost-static, however, they admit in the README that it is already a dead project.

Alternatively, there are quite a few forks. Looking at this one now: https://github.com/manthansharma/buster/

I am running my Ghost blog on GitHub pages with HTTPS. Wrote about it here: https://bjurr.com/ghost-1-0-free-hosting-with-https/

Hi!
I'm Still using buster to generate static pages for my blog . And yes, there were compatibility issues with this version of buster with ghost (2.9.1). so I fixed those,

you can find workings on buster https://github.com/ramithuh/buster

if you encounter any difficulty let me know

I've created a new static site generator for ghost loosely based on buster. Maybe it can help you.

After moving from here to there and there to here, I finally found the perfect static sit generator for Ghost: https://github.com/scambier/ghost-static
It actually works with no conflicts.
