Annotated Corpus Map is a nice new tool to explore textual data. However, if "Annotation from Variable" is selected, the "clusters" might overlap to a large extent, and it becomes unclear which group of keywords belongs to which cluster and some keywords may even become illegible (see image). Also, if the same variable isn't also set as color attribute, it is hard to find out which cluster hull belongs to which value of the selected categorical variable.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a separate legend for the cluster hull colors, and, after the corresponding value, list the characteristic keywords (e.g., in the figure: AALTO - system, investigate, making. What also might help is to give the text of the keywords the same color as the cluster hull.
Describe alternatives you've considered
None that I know of.

I noticed that it isn't possible to adjust the font size of the annotations in the Visual Settings (Palette icon). If it would be possible to use a smaller font for the annotations, it would also reduce the overlaps.
