When contact non-elected civil servants, direct emails often aren't available. Instead, they publicize contact emails for organizations and certain posts. For example, the Clerk's Office or the Open Data team.
I would be great if the public could communicate with these addresses transparently.
When mailing these addresses, replies often come back from specific contacts, having been forwarded to them. As an added benefit, this could open the door for future features that detect new reply contacts, and allow these to be attached to names (which would already be in the system, but only with phone numbers, as these are more liberally released via City directory).
