Discuss possible updates to pcv. analyze_nir_intensity

A while ago Jose asked about updating the functionality of the pcv. analyze_nir_intensity function, but I would argue that the whole function could do with a little bit of a rehaul.

• Consider a rename? This function works on pretty much any type of grayscale image, not just NIR intensities. It might be more appropriate to rename to something more generic.
• Combine with thermal?
• Standardize measurements collected. The measurements collected are somewhat inconsistent. There is stdev for NIR but not for thermal. And there is min/max observation being recorded for thermal, but not NIR. We could combine both functions and collect all the things.
• add a helper function for making the histogram/aggregating data to reduce code redundancy
• add new input parameter that allows users to update/customize the data label depending on the type of grayscale image ???

Update and extend functionality to accept 16bit masks. Convert mask into uint8 if the mask if found to be that format.
