I was looking at the commit history and found several merges with a bunch of commits of varying descriptiveness. It made me realize why squash-merges are a thing when merging to main.
This was one of my takeaways when reading the article about "Git commit messages are useless" which was referenced by @danielmiessler in the newsletter.
Is there any reason why this hasn't been enabled? Would greatly appreciate any insights in pros and cons of enabling this policy.
