A screenshot of the desktop view and what hardware you're using would be helpful. Though if no-one can reproduce the issue I'm not sure how to identify what the cause of the bug is.

So here's the screenshot
and I use a Oculus Quest 2 connected with air link

Sadly I can't identify anything obvious that would cause the problem

Well I will try some things like with a cable instead of airlink or other version of steam vr and let you know thanks for trying

I'm not sure if this is related as I use a HTC Vive, but this sometimes happens to me. resetting seating position dose not fix it, but after i reset i open the steam vr overlay, close it and everything pops into the right place. Try that and let me know!

This fixes it for me
