Search seems to only work on text within descriptions, not package or function names.
E.g. I can't find lme4 by searching for "lme4", but searching for "linear mixed-effects models" returns a list with nlme and lme4 at the top.
However, when I click on the lme4 result, there is a warning saying "There's a newer version (1.1-35.1) of this package". Why not go to the newer version in the first place.
I really like the concept of this website, but unfortunately it seems to be both buggy and unmaintained.
rdocumentation search does not return any result on searching "matrix". Search is working for other terms such as "matri" or "mean matrix".
I am using Firefox Version 101.0.1 (64-bit) with Windows 11.
Let me know if I can provide any other information.
