@danroth27 who's the team contact for AI? What hooks does ASP.NET Core 2.x have for AI?
Set up Application Insights for your ASP.NET website and Application Insights for ASP.NET Core are out of date.

Application Insights for ASP.NET Core has no useful info in it. I'll try to get these updated. What content would you like added to the the ASP.NET Core version?

@anthonychu is planning:
ASP.NET Core + App Insights
ASP.NET Core + Cosmos DB
Simple CRUD / or less - create cosmosDB + core app
Maybe too large
Use (nuget) .NET Standard libraries in Azure Functions
Sign up for a free tier account on Azure
ASP.NET Core: adding MSI (service identity)
ASP.NET Core + Key Vault
Deploy a Web Forms app to ACI

@Rick-Anderson @anthonychu if I can help here, let me know. App Insights is near and dear to my heart.

@isaac2004 if you could do ASP.NET Core + App Insights
that would be great.

@anthonychu are you planning on doing any of that work? Should I delete that comment? I don't remember where I got that information.

@Rick-Anderson sure, what issues do you have with the current doc? It is pretty big and has been updated this year.

@Rick-Anderson Yea that Azure doc. I think the only real important thing to mention is the liteup feature in Main(). Other than that the Azure doc is pretty good. Do you a particular area that needs coverage?

I think those were hands on lab ideas from a OneNote file our team was brainstorming on. One or two of those got produced but nothing AI related. Feel free to jump in @isaac2004

@danroth27 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/application-insights/app-insights-asp-net-core walks through hooking up AI. We have an offer for more content, what would you like?
