This issue is meant to track various in progress things that we don't want to forget about after the holidays. We will use the things documented in this ticket to seed the next kickoff meeting in the new year.

  1. Merge 1.14.12 geth upgrade (done, reviewed, ready to merge, but need an approval from Seb or Adrian + devnet rollout)
  2. L1-pectra support work
    • Clarify specs that 7702 txs are not supported for batch data reading
    • shared op-node/op-program tx-reading fix
    • op-node modifications to L1 RPC
    • op-program FP update
  3. Kurtosis devnet needs to regularly run latest protocol changes. Focus is first on an L2-interop kurtosis devnet, but the non-interop kurtosis is still important too.
  4. op-reth integration plans with interop (support for tx simulation and interop safety checks against op-supervisor RPC)

  • Working on fixing broken existing action tests with my changes for withdrawalsRoot in Isthmus: Updates for L2 withdrawals root in header optimism#12848. The common symptom appears to be a chain reorg that manifests when running action tests with the above code.
  • New action tests added for Isthmus withdrawalsroot are working correctly.
  • Also reading FMA doc for Holocene to get a sense of what we would need to add for Isthmus withdrawalsRoot feature.
