I need Help.

Hello, does the program/tidal support retrieving the Album Type like Studio, EP, Live etc. I have tried {album_type} but that did not work. thanks.

What operating system are you seeing the problem on?

Please share a link to an album on TIDAL, where such types are present in the naming.

Well, using a tool for Deezer, you can use Album Type as a tag/format, so for example

{artist}/{album_type}/{album}/{track_number}. {track_name}
Artist/(Studio, EP or Live)/Album/01. TrackName

Currently downloading tracks places all the Albums into the Artist folder, it'd be nice to seperate the album types Studio, EP, Live etc.

I'm not seeing anything related to Album Type via the URL or in the Web player but neither does Deezer but it supports the tags/formatting.

This app only supports tags, which are provided by (tidalapi)[https://github.com/tamland/python-tidal]. I do not see the requested information present there. But maybe you can also have a look and correct me if I am wrong.

What about this one. This is on the Documentation via that link you sent me.

Album.type

Please see my reply above, would this be the correct tag?

As far as I can see, Album.type, only tells, what entity type this is. For albums it is just ALBUM. But I am not 100% pro-efficient with tidalapi. Maybe you raise this question at their repository. Also, you should provide examples and what to expect when testing, regarding this "type" tag / question :-)
